3 Ways to Improve Your Grade
It's very simple to improve your grade. At the beginning of the year, I said there are three things to do in this class that will guarantee at least a C in my class. They are as follows.
1. Study : By study I don't mean study 30, 60, or more minutes. That's counterproductive and a waste of your time. I ask you to study for a quiz/test for maybe 10-15 minutes. I don't want you to live and breathe math but you do need to put forth a genuine effort. No effort = no passing grade.
2. Turn materials in on-time : The biggest grade killer in education is a 0. This will lower your grade so quick you even may not recover if you have so many. Get materials completed and turned in on time. If you don't know how to do the problems, refer to tip #3.
3. Ask Questions : If you don't ask questions, you will NOT succeed in this or any math class. Math is probably the one class where you will pass and fail if you don't ask questions. Everything builds on everything. If you fall behind in chapter 1, you may be lost for the rest of the year. The only person you hurt if you don't ask questions is YOURSELF!!!!!
